Science Bound Game Watch Fundraiser
with Matt Campbell & ISU Student Athletes
Join ISU Football Head Coach Matt Campbell and student athletes from the football team for a game watch fundraiser! Fans of Cyclones and Science Bound alike will gather to watch ISU Women's Basketball at UCF and Men’s Basketball at Oklahoma State on Tuesday, February 25th at the Elmwood Country Club in Marshalltown, IA. This fundraising event will highlight the great work of Science Bound and the crucial need for support of Iowa youth in these programs.
Science Bound is one of Marshalltown's hidden gems since its inception in 2007, and we aim to ensure that the legacy continues. Join us to meet exceptional Science Bound scholars and discover how you can support this win/win program. Together, we can nurture future ASTEM leaders and create a talent pipeline for Central Iowa companies.
Founded in 1990, Science Bound is Iowa State University’s pre-college through college program to increase the number of Iowa youth, particularly those who face barriers accessing higher education, pursuing degrees and careers in the fields of agriculture, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (ASTEM), as well as education. They engage middle and high school students from Denison, Des Moines, Marshalltown, and Osceola (Clarke County), Iowa. Students begin the nine-year program during the summer before eighth grade and continue through to college graduation.
